Student Organizations

The recognized student organizations of the school are as follows:

ABCOMM SOCIETY

This organization shall be known as ABCOMM SOCIETY, the student organization of Bachelor of Arts in Communication students currently enrolled at National College of Science and Technology (NCST). It promotes better social relationship among its members thereby; establish unity and sense of belongingness. Supports institutional activity of the NCST to enhance the betterment of students and fulfill the general objectives, mission, vision and program of the school. And the ABCOMM SOCIETY adheres to develop the leadership and camaraderie among freshmen students by organizing academic activities.

ACTS

This organization shall be known as ACT Society, the student organization of all ACT students currently enrolled at National College of Science and Technology (NCST). It promotes better social relationship among its members thereby, establish unity and sense of belongingness. It supports institutional activities of the NCST to enhance the betterment of students and fulfill the general objectives, mission and vision and program of the school. And it promotes education and encourages patriotism and nationalism among its members pursuant to school policies and regulations.

ARKITEK’TO

This organization shall be known as ARKITEK’TO, the student organization of all Architecture, students currently enrolled at National College of Science and Technology (NCST). It promotes education and encourages patriotism and nationalism among its members pursuant to school and regulations. Secure the students body an environment conducive to the maintenance of excellence in academic performance and assist the faculty in carrying out its educational objectives.

BIBLE READERS SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL – NCST CHAPTER

“Leading the People in Reading the Bible”

The organization shall be known and called as the Bible Readers Society International or BREAD Society hereinafter referred to as the Organization. It carries a symbol that will stand for the Organization and it shall be a non-stock, non-profit, socio-civic, non-government Organization. It aims to institute the academe bible reading, studying, and consequently uplifting the morality of the youth. Our mission is to encourage people, especially in the academic and professional realms in reading the Bible and instill Christian values that are written therein.

BSED SOCIETY

This organization shall be known BSED SOCIETY, the student organization of BSED STUDENTS currently enrolled at National College of Science and Technology (NCST).  BSED Society shall promote academic activities and other extra curricular activities which will enhance their social, organizational, managerial and leadership skills. The club adheres to the principle in promoting leadership and discipline through exposing BSED Students to organizational activities.

BULWAGANG NCST

The organizations shall be known as “BULWAGANG NCST”, a conventional theater guild.  It discovers and develops talent and skill of students in the field of theater arts particularly in acting, playwriting and on stage musical performances such as singing, dancing and musical instrument playing.  It encourages student’s involvement in extra-curricular activities and installs in their minds the value of brotherhood, unity and fellowship towards the achievement of genuine objectives. It promotes student’s participation in the college or off campus activities and assist the Bulwagang NCST members in problems related to their studies and concern.

CHIPS

This organization shall also known as Computer Hardware Interface and Programming Society (CHIPS), the student organization of all BSIT students currently enrolled at National College of Science and Technology (NCST).  It increases awareness in the latest development in the area of technology including career options in the diverse economy. Provide a positive forum in which student can enhance their creativity innovativeness Promote National College of Science and Technology through the effective use of websites and community projects and enhance students’ knowledge and transparency by being able to communicate through a question and answer forum and utilize internet resources through the effective use of websites and newsletter and maximize students’ capabilities to ensure a better future in the Information Age.

NCST – CHORALE

This organization shall be known as NCST CHORALE, the student organization of NCST Chorale currently enrolled at National College of Science and Technology (NCST). NCST CHORALE discovers and develops the talent and skill in the field of singing and instrument playing and encourages the student’s involvement in the extra-curricular activities. It is a creative, dynamic and democratic organization. Its power and authority comes from the members.

CSS

This organization is known as Computer Science Society, the student organization of all BSCS students currently enrolled in National College of Science and Technology. It provides a user friendly place for students¸ faculty members, staff and visitors to learn, use and be updated in the latest computer technology. It promotes National College of Science and Technology through the effective use of websites and community projects. Enhance students’ knowledge and transparency by being able to communicate through a question and answer forum and utilize internet resources through the effective use of websites and newsletter. Maximize students’ capabilities to ensure a better future in the Information Age.

CYLE

The name of this organization shall be Cavite Young Leaders for Entrepreneurship (CYLE). This organization is an independent provincial students’ organization affiliated with the Provincial Cooperative, Livelihood and Entrepreneurial Development Office [PCLEDO]. It promotes interest in Entrepreneurial activities and provides fellowship/camaraderie among students, faculty and other sectors of our society. It represents student needs and wants with regard to enhancing entrepreneurial leadership and skills and provides a forum for the presentation of innovative ideas for the benefit of students from various colleges/universities in Cavite. Lastly, motivate students in the pursuance of entrepreneurial ventures

DASMARIÑAS NCST LEO CLUB

The name of this organization is the Leo Club of NCST Dasmariñas-Chapter. It promotes service activities among the youth of the community which will develop the individual qualities of Leadership, Experience and Opportunity and unites its members in friendship, fellowship and mutual understanding.

ECES

The society shall embark on programs of actions complimentary to the development of ECE students of NCST – Dasmarñas City, both in academic and non-academic aspects. It achieves academic excellence by promoting through scientific inquiry and study, the advancement of Electronics and Communications Engineering and its application to related fields. It develops a sense of service and responsibility among the students ensuring them to be well rounded individuals for the welfare of the society. It unites all engineering students of this college and promotes closer relationship, cooperation and fellowship among students of Electronics and Communications and related fields of engineering.

ENGLISH CLUB

This organization shall be known as English Club, the student organization of all freshmen students currently enrolled at National College of Science and Technology (NCST). The English Club adheres to develop the leadership and camaraderie among freshmen students by organizing academic activities that propagates the art of communication in English language and it adheres to the principle of promoting leadership and discipline through activities that provides communication encounters in English language.

ICES

The organization shall be known as the Integrated Computer Engineering Society, the student organization of all Computer Engineering students currently enrolled at National College of Science and Technology (NCST). The Organization believes that computer literacy among citizenry is essential in National Development, academic and professional excellence in Computer Engineering is necessary in the Computer Industry, adherence to democratic principles and practices is vital to decision-making, extra-curricular activities help in the promotion of the total development of the students and hazing, in any form, is inhuman, thus shall not be tolerated.

JFINEX

The name of the organization shall be the Junior Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines of National College of Science and Technology. The organization shall be also identified by the acronym, JFINEX-NCST.

It becomes one of the leading student organizations of NCST and a string and active partner in transforming this institution into a premier Business School in Region IV. Our mission is to promote, protect, and advance the interests of Business students for better quality education in the fields of Finance, Economics, Marketing Management, and Entrepreneurship. To equip the members with the necessary business skills ad tools through actual exposures, trainings, seminars, and tours as well as to provide access to Business Technology Research Facilities for the realization of NCST’s Four-squares of learning.

It is created primarily to serve as a venue for sharing ideas among the members in the genuine pursuit of knowledge and the development of individual capacities as future Financial Professionals. The purpose of the organization is to develop responsible business leadership among the members, to create awareness and interest in financial career, to generate funds for sustainable development, to carry out projects that will benefit NCST students and to bring honor and prestige to NCST.

JPIA

The organization shall be known as Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants, National College of Science and Technology Chapter. It adopts such measures as necessary to foster educational advancement in the field of Accountancy. It serve as an instrument for gradual exposure of BSA students to actual practice of accounting and business life and acquaint the members with the nature and the activities of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). Develop professional awareness and discipline among its members and promote fellowship and brotherhood among accountancy students not only within the campus but also among other schools and upgrade the quality and standards of accountancy students

MATH SOCIETY

The organization shall be known as NCST Mathematics Society, of all students currently enrolled at National College of Science and Technology (NCST).  It promotes better social relationship among its members thereby, establish unity and sense of belongingness. It supports institutional activities of the NCST to enhance the betterment of students and fulfill the general objectives, mission and vision and program of the school. And it establishes regular programs that will help the members to develop their skills and gain more knowledge about mathematics.

PARACS

The organization shall be known as “Professional and Responsible Association of Criminology Students (PARACS),” the student organization of all Criminology Students currently enrolled at National College of Science and Technology (NCST).

“PARACS” shall make every effort to promote education and encourage patriotism and nationalism among its members pursuant to school policies and regulations. It is vigorous, its powers and authority emanates from its member. And the decision making will be made by the student with the approval of the proper school authorities and the course coordinator. And it shall cooperate and participate in the developmental activities and programs with other school organization.

PASOA

The organization shall be known as PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF STUDENTS IN OFFICE ADMINISTRATION – National College of Science and Technology. It adopts such measures as may be necessary to foster educational advancement in the field of Office Administration. It acquaints the members with the nature and activities of the Philippine Association of Students in Office Administration (PASOA) and develops civic consciousness and discipline among its members. It also promotes fellowship and brotherhood among office administration students not only within the National College of Science and Technology but also among other schools and upgrade the quality and competence of office administration students.

PEAR CLUB

The PEAR CLUB (physical Education, Athletics and Recreation) is the official organization of Physical Education subjects of the National College of Science and Technology-Dasmariñas City. It promotes better social relationship among its members thereby; establish unity and sense of belongingness. Support institutional activity of the NCST to enhance the betterment of the students and fulfill the general objectives, mission, vision and prodram of the school and the club adheres to develop future athletes by selecting the best students in PE class.

PSYSOC

The organization shall be known as Psychological Society, the student organization of all A.B. Psychology students currently enrolled at National College of Science and Technology (NCST) hereinafter referred to as the organization or PsySoc. It develops the personality and leadership potential s as well as the inculcation of sense of social responsibilities among members. It helps the psychology students in the difficulties of their course study and improve the scholastic standing of every member. It undertakes through cooperative action program of activities like symposia, for a, Seminar-workshops, educational fieldtrips, etc. that will develop a critical, sensitive, and responsible students of psychology and establish linkages with other school psychological chapters and to seek participation in inter-school activities.

RCY – NCST CHAPTER

The organization shall be known as the RED CROSS YOUTH COUNCIL, the student organization of every individual student currently enrolled at National College of Science and Technology (NCST). It serves as an information council to students about the features of Philippine Red Cross and the focal point through which incoming Red Cross can be coordinate. It serves as an outlet for College Red Cross volunteer service of the community. It enables the college community to learn about and to obtain Red Cross service available to students and their families and assists NCST in disaster preparedness planning and safety procedures.

SANGLAW DANCE TROUPE

The organization shall be known as SANGLAW DANCE TROUPE, the student organization of all course/group of students currently enrolled at National College of Science and Technology (NCST). It promotes student involvement in extra-curricular activities that will improve the members’ self-confidence and opportunities and encourage student attendance in chapter meetings. Likewise, it increases student awareness in dancing and other skill related professions by means of trainings, workshops and sponsored presentation events and promotes the school as well as the arts to the community.

YFC– NCST CHAPTER

CFC YOUTH FOR CHRIST – NCST CHAPTER is affiliated to the Couples for Christ Global Mission Foundation and the network of its corresponding family ministries within the Philippines and abroad, in both school and community based groups; CFC Singles for Christ, CFC Youth for Christ, CFC Kids for Christ, CFC Handmaids of the Lord, CFC Servants of the Lord. This chapter will participate in activities and endeavors of the bigger body of CFC Youth for Christ (YFC), but will often have its own activities as a chapter considering the schedules, needs and character of the Institute and its students
