NCST HTM DEPARTMENT: BACK TO BACK WIN AS ONE OF THE BIGGEST DELEGATIONS AND SCHOOL AMBASSADORS OF TKET PROJECT TRAVEL STUDIO

The graduating class 2016 of the Hospitality and Tourism Management Department joined the 2nd International Tourism and Hospitality Conference 2016 organized by the TKET PROJECT TRAVEL STUDIO last January 23, 2016 at Saint Paul University Manila. Tket is a company highly dedicated in building a venue where high-quality conferences and materials are sure to be delivered through keen and meticulous preparations. This leads to an experience where all goals are met and delivered. Within the three years of their operation in providing inspiring fun-learning conferences for educators and students of universities and colleges in the Philippines – nationwide, they are now dubbed as one of the biggest and most trusted producers of tourism conferences in the Philippines due to the uniqueness and distinct quality exhibited on past events.

This year’s theme – “Taking a step forward into innovative world-class service” – is focused on providing insights on innovative services – tourism and hospitality with a twist – and a hands-on guide and real-time learning experiences derived from successful professionals in the tourism industry in Manila and abroad. Their platform has always been about providing insights that breaks the traditional, and into the future of the tourism industry and it is open for all university and college educators and students of the tourism and hotel & restaurant management courses.

The following are the resource speakers who gave their experiences and knowledge throughout the conference.

Mr. Jonathan Blatter is a Switzerland national and top Chef at one of the most majestic 5- star hotels in Dubai, “Atlantis, The Palm.” Situated in the heart of Atlantis are some of the most prestigious and award-winning restaurants in the world. His crowning medals are of bronze and gold earned in global culinary competitions such as the “Villeroy & Boch Culinary World Cup 2014” and “Culinaire Malaysia 2015.” His presentation brought the participants into the heart of Atlantis and into the kitchens of this 5-star majestic hotel with real-time learning curves and innovative ideas on what it takes to be a top Chef in a world-class hotel.

Ms. Chal Chang Lontoc-Del Rosario is a Filipino-Taiwanese entrepreneur that owns Jeron Travel & Tours Corporation. Based in Manila, Jeron’s provides cost-efficient travel services to 500 fortune corporations. Her presentation involved insights on how they have managed to keep their clients loyal through their services and maintaining good relationship with top-notched corporations and into the mechanics of how a successful travel agency operates.

Mr. Bashar Mashni is a Palestinian national and the Tourism & Arts Manager of the Taj Cluster. His presentation brought the crowd into the world of the famed Jerusalem equipped with an interesting story and learning that has shown the important role tourism plays and the key innovations they are working on to showcase the developments of tourism in their country in terms of their services through hotels and tours. This year’s Tket conference is his first time presenting in the Philippines.

At the end of the event, the NCST delegation was hailed once more as one of the BIGGEST DELEGATIONS AND SCHOOL AMBASSADORS of the TKET PROJECT TRAVEL STUDIO – a feat which they had already made a year ago during the Tket Conference 2015.
