NCST Partners with PUM Netherlands to Boost Business Technology


   Armed with the vision of creating better learning opportunities for its students, National College of Science and Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding with PUM Netherlands Senior Experts last November 27, 2017 at the NCST Multicolored Room.
Heading the MoU signing is NCST’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Emerson B. Atanacio and PUM Netherlands’ Country Manager Mr. Albert Wetterings. They are joined by industry experts Dr. Malou Enriquez and Mr. Jun Enriquez. The event also saw the launch of Business Technology and Agribusiness Incubator which will be housed in NCST.

   During the MoU signing, Mr. Atanacio reiterated the importance of young people creating impact in the country and in the world through technology and skills empowerment. He expressed his hopes that through the partnership, NCST would be responsive to the current government’s thrust of “Prosperity For All”. Mr. Albert Wetterings echoed the sentiments of NCST’s President expressing his belief that it is important to invest in the youth’s idea for the future of the world is in their hands. While Atanacio and Wettering agreed that such innovations should start somewhere, both expressed their dream of expanding this partnership further to other parts of the Philippines.

   PUM Netherlands senior experts is a volunteer organization committed to the sustainable development of small and medium-sized enterprises in developing countries and emerging markets.
