AB Communication
Program Description
The Bachelor of Arts in Communication (AB Communication) Program is specifically designed to prepare the students for diverse, fascinating and challenging careers in the rapidly changing communication industries. It offers a broad-based education focusing on mass media, including journalism, broadcasting, film, advertising, photography, public relations and theater arts.
Program Objectives
The Bachelor of Arts in Communication Program aims to produce communication practitioners who possess theoretical and practical knowledge on various communication fields and who adhere to the highest ethical standards of a communication practitioner.
BS Accountancy
Program Description
The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Program aims to prepare students for the Licensure Examinations for Certified Public Accountants and Certified Accounting Technicians.
Program Objectives
The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Program provides Intensive training to enable students to become globally competitive and responsive to the challenges and demands of our globalizing economy. Alongside core courses in Finance and accounting theories and practices, students are provided a comprehensive curriculum designed to make them multi-disciplined and conversant with concepts in related sciences and fields. The idea is to turn them less into numerical robots and more into business advisors who are well-rounded and responsible professionals, who uphold the ethics and the principles of transparency and accountability.
Technical skills in the following aspects will be developed: mental organizational, analytical and problem solving skills, business and corporate communication and information technology (IT) skills, a sense of responsibility in decision making, self-motivating techniques, objective thinking, and professionalism. Built into the programs is the practicum course which provides an exposure to the business world that enables students to simulate the working environment, gain insights into work standards and current practices in the Philippine setting, and apply the theories learned in college.
